Overall, this car seat has a very high safety rating. It was a top performer during our crash test, and the dummy's head as well as chest experienced very low G forces.
The one thing to be aware of is that this model won't last as long as other models. According to CDC charts of growth, your child will begin to outgrow it around the age of 3. It's difficult to reach the age of five in this car seat. It has a weight limit of 40lbs and one height adjustment.
